This kind of lock Marine mortise lock C-4 is suitable for the doors of ship cabins as well as fireproof doors of every grade on ships. lt adopts a structure of single cylinder and master key.The movable bolt can protect against the wind and is operated by the lever handle.The dead bolt has the locking effect.The door should be unlocked by a key outside the door and a knob inside the door.If continue to rotate the knob, the door can be opened directly, which is much easy to use.
This lock is suitable for doors of 36 mm-45 mm in thickness.
Marine Cabin Door Lock Type C4 Direction for Installation & Operation
1.According the hole size drawing and door direction, mark the hole position of lock’s body,cylinder, knob, rod, gusset box and plate.Then trepaning on the door
2.As shown, put the lock body into the hole,install the gusset plate and gusset box, make them parallel to the lock and match the lock
tongue.Then, install the handles, cylinder, cylinder cover and knob from outside to inside.Last, adjust the bolts to be flexible.
3.In exceptional case, you can change the opening direction of the lock by yourself, open the lock body,and then turn over the latch bolt, but we will not respond to your change.
4.Instructions:
C1 incorporate double (dead and latch) bolts,single cylinder and master key system. The door can be opened by the handles. When we stick the dead bolt,the door just can be opened by the key outside or the knob inside. It is suitable for doors of 38-42 mm in thickness,and the other thickness can be customized.
